The Center
There are two parts to the building – the residential accommodation is in the main part of the House, and the camping facilities are in the Annex and the adjoining field. All areas have access for people with disabilities.
The House
The residential House accommodation is fully equipped and sleeps 30 people in a purpose built, centrally heated, comfortable brick house suitable for use at any time of year. The large general purpose hall is suitable as a dining room and for activities, and has a sink for craft activities. There are plenty of stackable tables and chairs, and poster walls along two walls.
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with large electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. A washing machine and tumble drier are available.
The indoor accommodation has a total of 30 beds, consisting of two dorms each sleeping 12 people in bunks, plus one room with en-suite disabled facilities sleeping 2 people in bunks, plus a Leaders rooms sleeping up to 4 people in bunks.
There are toilets, washing and shower facilities.
The Campsite
The large camping field can comfortably accommodate up to 50 campers, and has outdoor taps, BBQ tables, and a permanent camp fire setting with log seating. Firewood and lightweight tents can all be made available on request.
The campsite is fully equipped for both unit and patrol camping, with the Annex providing centrally heated wet weather general purpose indoor hall with tables and chairs, and a fitted sink unit and hot/cold water. The kitchen is equipped with a large electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and sink unit with hot/cold water. There are toilets, washing and shower facilities, inzcluding facilities for people with disabilities. There is a large basement for drying tents during a wet-strike (by arrangement).
Meeting & Conference Room
Nether Auchendrane is also the perfect venue for training sessions, meetings and presentations with a large wall mounted SMART TV in the main hall!
The big TV is also perfect for a movie night as part of a residential! The centre also has projection screens and a projector which can be used in either the main hall or the annex hall.

Access
Access to the Centre is via a single-track road, suitable only for cars and minibuses no bigger than 20 seaters. (If larger buses are used then children and belongings can be walked from the main road – 10 minutes walk). Car parking is available at the Centre.
